Jeannine Sturm (violin, viola & cello) holds a Bachelor of Science degree
in Music from Adelphi University ('03 cum laude) and a Master of Arts degree in Music History from Long Island University
C.W. Post ('05). She is currently attending Hofstra University for her Master of Science In Education (MSEd) in Music Education,
and will graduate in December 2007.
She currenly holds a small studio of string students. Her students have gone off
to state solo competitions and have achieved excellent grades.
Jeannine has played in the Massapequa Philharmonic, Adelphi University Symphony
Orchestra, CW Post Orchestra, SUNY Stony Brook undergraduate orchestra, Suffolk County Community College Community Orchestra
and the East End Chamber Orchestra (Aquebogue, NY).
She currently plays in the Hofstra University
Opera Orchestra (Marriage of Figaro) that will give performances in February 2007. She is also a member of the Hofstra Symphony
Orchestra, and will conduct the Hofstra String Orchestra in the Spring of 2007.
Jeannine has studied in the past with Boris Jourawleff, Maria Bachmann, and Dr.
Dale Stuckenbruck on the violin. Her viola instructors include Jody Ratner & Dr. Veronica Salas.
